On Tuesday we went and painted penguins at an assisted living center with the residences in the dementia unit, we made half a penguin with the paint then folded that paper in half to make the full penguin, I have a new love for arts and crafts, their legit!! Unfortunately mine decided to be an hour glass rather than a penguin but it’s the thought that counts!

This week a lot of our plans had fallen through and we were left with a lot of time wondering what we should do. There was a time this week that we stopped at a stop sign and we were looking at a map. A car came up behind us so I had to drive off, not knowing where to go we just followed the spirit and found a place to pull over. As we were sitting in the car we saw that we were a few houses down from someone we recently met that wanted to learn more.

We decided to stop by and see how he was doing and if he was still interested. When we knocked on the door he let us right it and we were able to sit down and share the restoration with him! A lot of the questions he had were answered through the short message. This always happens to us, our plans fall through but we are placed where the Lord needs us to be. We can only plan according to what we feel the Lord needs us to do, but sometimes plans change and people are ready sooner rather than later!

This week I was reading a lot in the Book of Mormon and I came across several accounts where the Lord uses a parable of “A One.” By far one of my favorite chapters in the Book of Mormon in 3 Nephi 17! This was after Jesus Christ had come to the Americas and was just about to leave when he saw the sadness of the people and that they were in tears, so he decided to stay and serve them, he healed the sick, the blind, the deaf, and he did all this according to their faith.

He saw that they had exceeding faith in him and loved him and wanted him to stay. So when he was done healing them, he commanded that they bring their little children to him. And they sat down in the midst of Jesus. But as Jesus was there he was troubled by the wickedness of the people so he knelt down on the earth and prayed to God.

The prayer was so marvelous that it couldn’t be written, but probably the most wonderful thing was that afterwards Jesus was so full of joy that he wept and blessed and prayed with the children ONE BY ONE. Every single child is worth everything to him, we are all his children and he wants us to pray to him often.

I love y’all so much, I hope you have a wonderful week!

Keep being awesome and look for opportunities to put a smile on someone’s face, one little smile can change someone’s life!
