His Eternal Sacrifice

This week wasn’t filled with too much! We spent most of our time knocking a lot of doors and talking with people. Probably the highlight of the week was general conference and the council we received from the leaders of the church.

I love hearing the messages they have to share every conference! It’s given me quite a few things to think about, one of those was what really is my purpose for life?

I’ve thought about this several times and it has been a frequent topic during conference. We were all sent to this mortal life for a purpose in mind, granted we don’t remember this life before when we were introduced to this great eternal plan but it’s always something to think about.

It was more of a spiritual growing week for me, the work didn’t quite progress how we wanted it to but it was more of my personal testimony progressing. This coming up Easter weekend I want you to really think about the atonement of Jesus Christ and what his great and eternal sacrifice means to you.

There is so much meaning and power behind knowing that Jesus Christ suffered massive amounts of pain and heart ache for each and everyone of God’s children. No matter how frustrating people may be or rude they may seem we are asked to love them.

Its God’s second greatest commandment to love his children. You never know the pain people face deep down. This world is ever moving quicker to its final days and that’s an even bigger reason to remember Christ and the example he was for us.

Through all the rejection and persecution he faced he still looked upon others with love in his heart and saw them as God would. If you haven’t yet I would invite y’all to watch the new #PrinceofPeace video the church released for Easter.

This single act of selfless love is what has saved all of us and is allowing us to return to God, I hope and pray that by taking the time to seek out the knowledge and understanding of this marvelous act you will feel the infinite love your Heavenly Father has for you.

I love each of you so much and I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my testimony with you. I hope each of you have a wonderful week!

We picked up our investigator’s dog we found on the side of the road, had a photo shoot, then took him back (:
